When Does Life Begin?

With ultrasound techology today we have a "window to the womb" that proves unborn babies are not simply "blobs of tissue" as the abortion industry would have us believe.  Here are some fetal development facts and photos:

4 weeks after conception: fetal heart is beating!

8 weeks after conception: everything is now present that will be found in a fully-developed adult

16 weeks after conception: fetus is eight to 10 inches long and weighs a half pound or more.

19 weeks after conception - this now-famous photo of baby Samuel Armas, taken by photographer Michael Clancy who was hired by USA Today to cover the spina bifida procedure of baby Samuel, depicts him reaching out of his mother's uterus during surgery to grasp the surgeon's hand.

Credit for fetal development photos weeks 4 - 16 goes to Zrodio Foundation, Krakow, Poland and photgraphers Andrzej Zachwieja and Jan Walczewski. Under direction of Professor Andrzej Skawina and Antoni Marsinek, MD, Krakow Poland. Credit for 19 week development photo goes to Michael Clancy.
